    Just a FYI, the real Speedcat Pros offered by Ferrari via the Ferrari store and Puma twice between 2020-2021 were made completely of nomex and were truer versions of the ones worn by the factory drivers than these current replicas.

    In the previous releases, they never used the term replica and were very limited in release. The term replica is now present only in the ones released this year in matte smooth leather. I have a pair from each release, including the same ones you have for sale and while the look is similar and all are FIA certified, there is a difference in these later ones that aren’t as authentic as the earlier limited edition ones made of full nomex.

    The first release was limited to 150 pairs to commemorate the 1000th GP for Ferrari (97 Leclerc versions and 53 Vettel version) and the second release, also in full nomex, was to commemorate the 3 Italian rounds of 2020 season and were called the GP Italy edition.

    I’ve worn these on the track and they are a delight to wear and the pedal feel is incredible but these new replicas available from Puma and the F1 store for Mercedes, Red Bull, Ferrari are just replicas of the nomex ones they previously released so I just wanted to put that out there as additional information for any potential buyers.

    Thanks for the information. It is really useful. This pair is also from the Ferrari store, and I think they no longer offer the real shoe but the replica. I don’t understand why they are doing it. I wish they can still sell the real ones.
