I am interested in replacing my silver brake calipers for yellow. Will swap or buy.

Have you considered having your current calipers repainted/powder-coated instead of attempting a swap? A quick search here on FChat should surface many threads on this topic.

Have them painted. New calipers are very expensive, and selling used calipers is a time consuming process.

How long have you had the car? I am going make a recommendation based on my experience....
When I was shopping for my car, I REALLY wanted a Rosso Corsa car with charcoal wheels, and yellow calipers.
Well, I wound up with a Rosso Corsa car with diamond finish wheels, and silver calipers. I was so upset because I thought that the silver looked like crap, and was planning on getting new calipers or painting them eventually. However, as time went on, I started appreciating that my car looked a little different from the others, plus the calipers matched the silver stitching and stripe on the racing seats, so the calipers grew on me. About a year later, I was 50/50 on the caliper color, and somebody mentioned something to me that I can't unsee now.
They said that the yellow caliper on a red car looks like a Ronald Mcdonald car! When I see a red car w/ yellow calipers, that's all I can think of! LOL. Since then, I really like the silver calipers, and actually prefer them on my car.
I think part of it also depends on your wheels. With the light silver wheels, I don't think that the silver calipers would look good at all.
Another thing that sets it home for me, is that the Ferrari promotional materials for when the 458 came out, uses a red car with diamond cut wheels, and silver calipers. So I figured, how bad can it be?
Bottom line, if you just got the car, maybe it's a good idea to give it a little time to see if the silver grows on you, like it did on me.

I stand corrected. I think the silver on silver looks great! For some reason, I didn't think it would

Let me share why I went this way.

Note : there is a cost for any colour even the Silver. Its priced the same so cost isn't a factor.

So many Ferrari owners go through the process of deciding which colour to have red or yellow.

I ruled out Yellow because the yellow colour is not the same as the 3 parts that have yellow. i.e Shields , caliper , centre cap. Im anal and could not handle the 3 different shades.

Red could have been an option but it would have to be a match to my red RCM. Something Ferrari would NOT do.

Didnt fancy any of the remaining colours.

The silver matched the silver of the rims. Its not the silver on many cars. These are coated. Then I also put on the silver caps.

Now there is only one Yellow , the shield. The wheel section is all silver.

If there was a Ferrari option for a light version of the standard rim I would have bought it. For me its ALWAYS a 5 spoke rim that looks great.

Finally I just wanted to be different. Dont see it often. Suits the car with the no carbon stance also. Car is specced with ALL leather. Again different.

That makes sense, and also explains why your car looks so great. (when I wouldn't think that it would when pictured in my head)
I guess I was thinking of the 458 silver wheels, and they are a different silver, AND I was thinking about a yellow center cap.
Congrats for thinking outside the box!
I'm starting to appreciate that simple is better a lot of the time.

Thanks for all the thought provoking comments.
My 458 is Silver with a matte black roof, so lots of silver, which is beautiful, but I just thought that a little contrast with the silver would give it that pop.
    Still thinking it over.

Also, I have some road rash on one of the rims (#$%&). Looking for rim fix. Silver diamond cut 5 spoke rims...

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but most of the time, you can not fix the diamond cut wheels properly. The problem with those, is that they essentially have to lathe the face of the wheel to get rid of the damage. So they essentially remove material from the wheel to the level of the bottom of the damage. Once this is done, the wheel loses the detail in the grooves, etc, and it winds up looking bad because the grey grooved part doesn't match the other wheels. If the damage is VERY slight, they can probably fix it without 99% of the people noticing. I don't know if there are any shops that can fill the damaged material first, then lathe it smooth. If so, then maybe they can do an acceptable looking repair.
I had a wheel on my car that was redone, and it bothered me so much that I bought a new wheel. Unfortunately, it was expensive, and very hard to find at the time.
