My God! What year is that car and what is the mileage? I always think of Rolls as a finely hand made car but this thing looks like something else!

@Braden - what is your impression of the quality of this car, now that you are taking it apart? I'm interested too. Given that BMW set the standards for this car, I've had an E34 M5, did similar mileage over similar time, and the BMW looked close to new. But if you park a car outside for 10 years, especially in a climate like Florida, its not going to look new. The interior leather - it looks like its had a rough life. On the older Turbo R's etc, the difference between a cared for interior and a refurbished for sale interior is obvious. And sadly most of them are not looked after. Really interested how the paint got into that condition. The electronics I sort of assumed would be the same quality as a 2000's BMW which is a bit disappointing. Its perfectly possible to build them to a higher standard, think 1970's Hi Fi vs 1980's Hi Fi, but much of it seems lifted over from BMW i.e. the idrive.
I think there well built cars and impressive when you start taking it apart. The achilles heel would be the 7 series electronics from that era, but the parts don't cross over so you can't source them from BMW. The problem with most high end cars is they sit then fall apart when you start using them regularly. After this service work I'm confident it could go another 100k miles. I hated the early pre bmw Rolls.
