Awesome - just got home from vacation and I get to see the final pics. Love the LED and the new wheel! Ferrarited - No - Bradan was unable to get the HIDs to fit - I'm going to fool around with it in my spare time to see if I can come up with something. judge4re - the car came with a ton of spare parts and I picked up a bunch of parts from the guy parting the '88 on ebay. I save all of that stuff in the garage for my other cars - same will be with this one. Thanks for the comments guys - can't wait to get her out and running. Erik
It loks absoutly stunning. What a transition! Drive her in good health and safety. I only wish Braden was closer to Central MA. Id love to have them detail my paint and possibly look after my car. - Ron Frohock
She doesn't want to leave! We needed an Odo repair and a switch repair - the switch repair was a bit of a mix-up as I bought a ton of switches from that ebay Mondial back in December, but didn't buy one that I needed - I'm pretty sure we'll be on target for next week as I don't want delivery in the rain because I'd like to get the top up/down a few times with Daniel helping. It's pure torture, I promise! Daniel - thanks for all your hard work, I truely appretiate it. Erik
Picked her up Friday and left close to Midnight - got home about 2:30am. The drive home was a bit tense - it had been a long day and I wasn't sure if she was coming home with me that night. I had a blast and she drove very well. I've put on about 300 miles from Friday night until today. She stalled once this morning while she was still warming up - other than that - no major issues. I filled her up twice already - the first time the pump stopped and I had to keep holding the nozzel - second time, no issues. She goes into second cold - but it's hard, so I'll stick to the 1-3 for now. She idles at 900 cold, 1500 warm. Sounds incredible - X-OST exhaust may make a difference, althought I have nothing to compare it to. My son's had a blast in the car - I made the right decision with 4 seats - no doubt in my mind. I would not have enjoyed the 456 as much as this car - I love how I have to push the car into the turns because the lack of power steering. The "Ferrari" carseat that I purchased won't work with the lap only seatbelt. I need to see about a retrofit shoulder belt, but until then I'm using a basic carseat that works with lapbelts. On the homefront, wife was not upset at all and she loves it. She wants to drive it, maybe this week. Best part so far - driving on a two lane road, stuck in the right lane behind some slow driver, when a Mercedes slowed down and waved to let me in. I pulled into the left lane and punched it - quick 3-4-5 and I'm flying. Felt great. Enjoy the pics - "Bella" (I didn't name her, previous owners did) with my Kleemann Mercedes - the family Town & Country, the S430 4-Matic, and the new baby, the GLK350 4-Matic. As you can see by the pics, part of the house is still under construction so for now I have to store the car off-site as the dust in the garage is crazy. Thanks for everyone's comments on the thread - can't thank Daniel at Bradan and all his crew enough - they went way above and beyond the call of duty with my car. Thanks guys, long time coming. Ted - got to see your baby when I was at Bradan - very clean Mondial - beautiful color combo! Today I got replacement bulbs and replacement wipers - those new 'aero' wipers. Erik
Congrations Erik, you did a great job on getting this redone to almost new specs. Hope you have a great time with the car. Another older Ferrari preserved for people to enjoy. Art
