Will the roof canvas be aftermarket or OEM? The trimmer recommended to me by my local Ferrari independent is reluctant to fit an aftermarket roof. Thanks for the pics, Cheers Ian
I would have to agree with him. Aftermarket tops almost never fit correctly. You end up putting so much time into modifying it to fit that you would have been better off starting from scratch.
It seems like this restoration will be very extensive. At this rate, wouldn't it just make more sense to dump this car and buy a nice example of one? Don't get me wrong I love that it's being restored...just doesn't seem very economical. Maybe the car has sentimental value I would assume?
