This car actually had a CEL when it came in with multiple codes for misfires and a cam position sensor. We found it jumped a tooth on the driver side engine bank. Tensioners were found to be in working condition. This could have been a disaster if it jumped 1 more tooth. Photos show the motor set to TDC. Timing was fully redialed. The dyno numbers seem a bit low compared to the other 575s you've run. Would you attribute that to this one being daily driven?
Oh no! It's still an A+ with a smiley sticker! It seems about 10hp off the other cars, could just be temperature/humidity difference.
Thanks, I feel better Looking forward to hearing the new exhaust......FYI - she has 22,000 miles - the 575 is a solid and reliable Ferrari - a great touring car - plan on driving it up to Montreal again for the Grand Prix in a few weeks. But I don't need to tell you that Cinna, I see you have a 575 too.
The 575 is lovely, I have about 12,000 miles on it and the only trouble has been my fault. Not dodging a pothole or taking liberties with it at the track, although I must say losing control of it is not as terrifying as one would expect. I've always wanted to drive up to Montreal with it for the Grand Prix, one year I will. I know you'll enjoy it, but enjoy it for me too! I think we've met at one of the FOCNER events by the way.
