Only me Chris was the second owner and added the nice carbon fiber though. I dyed the red leather band at the 12 o'clock position black. If you wanted to you could probabley remove the dlack dye and have it red. Enjoy!
I think the wheel looks good...but could somebody tell me WHY its cool? What is special about it? (honest question...just learning...)
it has the bottom portion of the wheel straightened, more leg clearance, It's alcantara|suede, it's a real Ferrari challenge steering wheel (complete with original box). And it has carbon fiber. It really is a great steering wheel. And from what I have heard, you can't purchase a new one anymore . They would need to verify the VIN of your Challenge car before you can purchase one. Got her home, safe and sound. OMG I can't believe what a beast she is. Just pulls and pulls - amazing clutch, too! I had air, stereo, working lights and gauges - wow, is it really the same car??? It seems that you continue to have a good working relationship with the BRADEN folks, and had their help getting into a beautiful red 456 v-12. With the time that has passed, do you still feel happy about the 348 project; where it took you, repair cost vs. present value, etc?
