Great Job. This will be "better than new"

Do you think some of the rust was from the way the frames and parts where stored prior to assembly?

We have to setup and brace the frame on a Chassis table to keep everything in place during repairs. Individual brackets are being fabricated to clamp into multiple locations on the frame.

For now check out the Pro mod Drag Dino chassis.

They gave the car an entire skim coat at the factory, check a few dimensions on some other things, I bet each door length is a different dimension. I was involved with an original daytona in 1978, never touched.

    Covered in filler

With a TIG class you will get the bench time required to get your skills to a good, B+ grade level, you will have developed the skill's to do MIG very good. The great thing is the dedicated seat time with instruction and feedback, Take on the most difficult (TIG) using class equipment and you will easily pick up MIG on your own. Practice by making some gates for your house!
