Does anyone have any good body shop recommendations in the city? My buddy has fender that needs replacing and doesn't have much time to bring it to an outer borough.

    Thanks

true. The shop looks sweet. Out of all honestly if I owned an Enzo or was a customer of any of the cars shown in the body shop I would NOT want them shown on a public forum. It's like putting Britney Spears who is bald in a hair salon and having the owner post pictures of yourself for everyone to see... Am I wrong?

Thanks for all of the resposnes. I think i should have prefaced this with it's a 325 BMW that has been in an NYC parking garage for 5 years so Classic and the like are probably overkill ;). Geico is recommending AutoTech Collision on west 57th street so I was looking for either another option or someone that can vouch for these guys.

    Thanks again!

Yikes-A/T would definitely not be my first choice-How about bringing it to the dealer down the street, they may be cheaper than you think and you will get a quality repair guaranteed by BMW.

Be aware that if and insurance carrier is recommending a shop its because they are a contract shop that accepts the carrier's rates. THis means that in most cases in order to make a profit they will have to cut corners.

Greetings... do not go where the insurance company recommends.. That is a huge no no... I deal with a shop that used to work for Manhattan Motor Car (but no longer because of shenanigans). The name of the shop is Collision Capitol - Paul 212-397-7220 - he does alot of high end body work Rolls Royce, Bentley, Lamborghini, etc.. He is a very fusy guy and he is located on West 61st St.. I have never had any issues and he does what you pay him for. Jay.. what about your BMW repair shops, since this is a BMW?

Call Matt @ C&D in South Hackensack, NJ. He does repair work for BMW North America's fleet cars. Great guy and, honestly, the only guy in the NY/NJ area I trust. He does the right job the first time, everytime. He will arrange pick up and drop off of the car if necessary.

I would highly recommend Martinos Auto Concepts. They are currently fixing my 07 S550 AMG, and fixing the famous 'Marchello' F550, which has been tossed from shop to shop and was involved in the SUPER SCAM by Forest Hill Exotic Performance in New Jersey.

I have never in my life seen such an amazing shop filled with the latest machinery. I was in absolute awe! I had NO reservations about giving them all of my work!

nope kept the A8l AND ADDED the S550 AMG, White/Black, also looks like I am going to add a 08/09 Bent GT Speed, and 08/08 Maserati GT, both white/black, thats my new gig, everything has to be white, with Black interior... Selling house and buying a bigger house with a bigger garage.... it's time... I filled up the florida house, my building, my house, and now my parents house.... not good.....

Geez Seth you've got a problem of wanting more and more cars haha but yet again its not a bad thing ofcourse. Why do you want a SPEED? I could come to the conclusion of why you would but may be wrong but aren't there other toys you would want? Can you take one of the brooklands instead off the floor? That car is stunning but the price tag is a lot more than speed. Manhattan has a white spkyer which I am sure they would give away for a steal...

    This is the hotness

Brooklands interior does not go with my collection and the other link is for a Mini Cooper - unless you are referring to the Spyker in the background!

Spyker is cool, but an Audi A8 engine.... not for me, a white Scuderia will do the trick!
