EAG specializes in mostly M cars. Eric the owner, is a BMW enthusiast.

Their pricing is not bashful (ala Dinan or Renntech). Most people who deal with them say the cars have been completely gone through and it is first class condition. You pay for that privilege.

    Regards,
    Jerry

I have seen e39 M5 sell through (not offered, sold through) as high as $40,000. That is with 2000 miles or so.

That's just the way EAG rolls.

That car is scruffy in some spots and missing a couple nice options.

    I bet I could sell them my e38 M-sport for $5k and they'd ask $40k it.

I love that picture. It is a very stoic stance! I just saw a phot of a Frau designed 2002 ti 2+2, and agree with the headline of one of the most beautiful bmw's. yours is right up there, too. I love design, heritage, and quality and your bmw has all three.

    Thank you for posting...

Thanks Leiber...it is cool car in that the Tourings were decidedly different from the regular 2002's. They are relatively rare and this one is a tii where only 5K+ were ever produced.

One of my favorite shots from back in the 80's I took on Trail Ridge Rd in Rocky Mountain National Park....

I love the colors that the designers at BMW and Fiat and Porsche picked in the 1970's. even some of the american muscle cars were right there too. they were all on some pretty good acid (or something cool...) im guessing and listening to fantastic music. Oh, and the bell bottom jeans:)

Did you mean Frua (not Frau)?

I remember seeing pics of the Frua car some time ago... yes, beautiful.

Some of his GLAS cars were not.

I would wholeheartedly agree that most Glas designs were a bit hard on the eyes. I think that BMW purchased Glas and is how Frua ended up designing several prototypes for BMW, the GT 2+2 being one. The image below of the GT show lines which look very CS like to me and could have been used in the 2800 CS.

The Touring however was a Georg Bertram/Manfred Rennen design and was part of the "Neue Klasse" automobile from BMW....basically all of the '02 body styles including the Touring.

I bought my 40th BMW about 3 weeks ago a 2017 440 gran coup, and had the M performance package installed in it on Friday. I am very impressed with it. Will make even more changes next spring, right now I am concentrating on my dogs new car a 75th anniversary Jeep Wrangler, making it less jeep since it will never see anything tougher than a food store parking lot the day before thanksgiving.

Just joined the club with my first ever BMW. Picked up a CPO 2013 X5 for the wife with premium package and winter package. Looked at LR4's and RR Sports but after a little convincing I got her to go take a look at an X5 and picked up this beauty. Love driving it in daily traffic and long hauls. She has said that she can't ever see herself with something different now, just a newer model year of course!

All BMW guys need to check out the i8. I really do love the car and after owning a 458 for about 2 years my standards are pretty high. It's the most versatile sports car I've ever owned.

I thought it was an interesting car, but it tried too hard to show me the future with window switches from a 1996 7-series, to be fair, all bmw have been using those for 20 years

Watching this kind of video is simultaneously extremely unhealty and extremely motivational to me. In equal proportions...

(Ignore much of what the guy is saying, he's got the history all wrong re: Lambo... it's just incredible to watch from all those angles, and in HD!)
