Blu Swaters vs TDF

I seriously considered ordering my 612 in Swaters blue (I had a 456 in that color), and I had the paint chips from an older dealer paint display. I couldn't tell the difference, no matter how hard I looked and under what light I tried.

So, I went with TdF and saved some money.

 

Yes, just a few weeks ago saw a new Cali T in Swaters close to a new F12 in TDF. TDF seemed to my eye like a brighter version of Swaters....or Swaters is a much more reserved version of TDF. My salesman loves it matched with a Blue Sterling interior...not sure what I was expecting, but was a bit underwhelmed with it. Having said that, I only saw it under cover inside the service area...and not sure it had been cleaned.

Is Swaters a regular color again? Back in 2008, it was a special order color. I could have gotten it, but it would have cost a bit more than TdF.

 

Do you have more pics or info on the specs of the F12 in Blu Swaters? I am thinking about the 812 in Blu Swaters but not sure yet. Thanks

I agree about the more reserved version of TDF or TDF is a brighter version of Swaters but also I would say that TDF has a little more purple in it and Swaters just nudges a little toward turquoise.

I think either color will look really good on an F12/ FF or 812/ GTC4. I like TDF just a little better because I like the extra vibrance.
