    Blu California was one of the two California T launch colors. Looks very close to Abu Dhabi. Trying to figure out how they’re different. Both have a hint of turquoise in direct sun.

    As ICP said, Blue California seems to have never taken off.

    I agree with @Il Co-Pilota though, to my eyes, Blue Abu Dhabi is the nicer color. It just sparkles in the sunlight.

    Not to make your life difficult, but if you are interested in this range of color, I might also consider Blu Mirabeau.

    At any rate, you can't go wrong with any of these colors. Best of luck and post up when you find the one...T

    I bought a California T in Blu California this spring based upon pictures at the dealership and had it shipped to me. It is very metallic and changes colors dramatically in different light, often having a turquoise look at some place on the car in direct sunlight. Attached are some pictures after it arrived, and a picture of it next to an 812 in TD Blue. The pictures make it look a deeper blue than it actually is. I had it wrapped in a deeper blue a few months ago. Since Abu Dhabi appears to be a color that people really like, I was curious how it is different than Blu California. The pictures of cars in both colors seem pretty similar, and both are very metallic. I’ll probably take the wrap off and go back to the Blu California this winter.
