I recently bought a farm in Missouri and will be moving there from Virginia sometime late this year.

Currently the property does not have any buildings on it to house the numerous cars I have accumulated.

It is a thousand mile trip each way and to be honest I have too many vehicles and motorcycles to take with me.

What is the best venue to sell them? – I included a list at the bottom as some places may be better for sports cars and others might be better for bikes.

Is Ebay, or Autotrader, or the local classifieds the best way to go?

There is no harm placing them in both.

I'm looking for a Jeep now and am using both in my hunt, including cars.com. I can tell you from a purchasers perspective, Ebay is better for a couple of reasons. First, you can really search for exactly what your looking for. Second, the seller can add a lot more picts and information and that helps the buyer. I always have questions I need answered after looking at cars.com or autotrader.com, but a lot less on Ebay. Ebay is also a very honest place to get street values. One of things you can do is search for completed sales of like vehicles to see a good range to expect.

Good luck in your sales and your move.

So, are you moving from rural VA or city life?

    No problem.........

I'm looking for an '03 JGC ltd or Overland 4x4 to replace my recently rear injured '94 JGC. Seems someone thought it would be a good idea to try and go thru it instead of stopping behind me. She was fast and dependable and I will rebuild her. (If the insurance guy makes it reasonable)
