AD Bobs Watches Chrono24 Check out the Watch Forum on here- Probably additional and better suggestions. Cheers
I should have been more specific- The forum is called "Fine watches, jewelry and clothes" but looks like you are/were already there or the post/ thread got moved. Anyway, there is a WEALTH of information and very knowledgeable people on here with regard to high-end watches. My suggestions other than AD (Authorized Dealer) are simply from awareness and reading articles published by them- I have never personally dealt with either. I do know that Bob's Watches is one of- if not THE largest buyer/seller of pre-owned Rolexes and has a phenomenal reputation and selection/collection. What are you looking to buy or sell? Cheers
Buying? AD, ferrarichat Selling-Ferrarichat>Ebay>Chrono. Chrono is last because you dont get hold of the money until the other guy says he likes the watch. Most of my used Rolex I bought from Ebay. Never has any issues, although its been a while since I bought there. I have a history of buying and selling rolex and tudors when Ebay started and I am pretty confident about my eye for fakes. But only use a credit card in those places. But ever since the hype, all of my new rolex I have bought from my AD since it is cheaper.
Hi , curious to know if you suggesting to post a classified ad to sell here or find a dealer here and coordinate that way ? Have you any experience ? I may be in the market to thin out collection.

I bought a watch off JAM1 in classifieds here - went great - gotta trust someone - I’d say go for it MDS
@flat_plane_eddie is a trusted source here on F chat and has a store on Chrono I believe Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
A HUGE +1 for @flat_plane_eddie Sold him watches twice..(the last time was 3 days ago) absolutely awesome transactions, fair prices, couldn't be happier.
I’ve bought two Longines through Chrono24. Best online source around; won’t hesitate to use them for the next and much higher priced purchase.
Perhaps not the same quantity of buyers or sellers as Rolex but my last watch purchase was done on ebay for a Blancpain. Made the seller an offer . Countered back and forth a bit . I got a killer deal for a brand new watch . Ebay has a certification program where they act as intermediary , hold the funds, check authenticity , then send the watch after all checks out .
+1 for @flat_plane_eddie - based on the recommendation of others on this thread, I just sold one of my watches to him. Super easy to deal with and lightning quick payment. Plus he’s got quite an array of goodies in Chrono24 (https://www.chrono24.com/search/index.htm?customerId=18434&dosearch=true). Thanks Eddie!
Damn! Just checked out @flat_plane_eddie page on chrono. He has a Kermit listed for 34k. I don’t wear mine. Maybe I should sell it. Put the money to something else.
I just sold an old Rolex that I had to @flat_plane_eddie. Everything went smoothly and I'm pleased with the result. Thanks Eddie
Why on earth would you not wear your Kermit? Too many other watches/options perhaps? I get it but wow- I'm lucky enough to have 5 watches and they all get worn- If a Kermit was added to the family it would definitely be getting some exercise
Patek 5968 Patek 5168 Patek 5270 Patek 5524 Patek 5522 Rolex day date 41mm A few others. kermit just doesn’t make the rotation all that often although the last 3 days I’ve worn the Kermit. Nothing against it- it’s just a hair small for my taste at 40mm.
