There is an auto body shop on Evans, east of Colorado Blvd.. can't remember the name..but will check!..FOD used them w/my car when it was damaged at FOD.. I strongly urge you NOT to use this shop..they scratched my Targa with the keys, broke the ignition key off in the ignition, the owner who I think is Scottish, replied "it's just a car"... Filed a claim w/BBB..owner denied everything & said I was trespassing when I he guided me to the repair area...very poor customer service!! Yet there was a 360 for repairs there! Sorry can't recall the name but I wiil post as soon as I remember/check.
Not sure if you're talking about the same place but at the corner of Holly and Evans (across from the CDOT building, next to Rupp's drums) is another place you should avoid. I URGE you to stay away. They are some of the worst/shadiest people I've ever encountered - EVER. They can post up as many certifications on the wall and advertise as much as they want, but their customer service will always screw you over in the end.
I'm pretty sure they do more than just Porsches, but Stuttgart Auto Body is where we send basically all of our Porsches that need any sort of small or significant repair. Good group of guys too.
You could try Hans w/ Fineline Restoration http://www.finelinerestoration.com/ The Saleen on the site is his, repainted by him, and looks great! -Mike
I'll throw in a plug for my buddy's shop, The Finishing Touch, in Basalt, CO (970) 927-0000. John and the gang do a lot of work from Aspen and they know how to paint high end cars right. They've worked on plenty of Ferrari, Porsche, Mercedes, etc. Sure it's a drive to get there, but you'll know you're in good hands. Oh, and if you do go, ask to see the pictures of the McLaren F1. Lucky bast... -matt
without question we recommend Crestone collision at 303 346 8600 ask for Tom Constant they have just finished a lambo great work
I'll second this. My mom put my AWD talon into a curb pretty hard (now you know where I get my racing mentality) one rainy night and did plenty of suspension/body damage... mostly superficial. They not only repaired the damaged parts to better than new IMO but also fixed some things that weren't even part of the quote or accident. For instance, the driver's side head light was fogged over (damage was on passenger side) and they took the time to remove the entire assembly, heat it up to separate the lens and then sanded and plastic polished both the inside and outside to a crystal clear finish. This was VERY appreciated as it was something I wasn't looking forward to setting aside an afternoon to do myself and was a welcomed surprise. Top notch work and very friendly staff and I consider myself to be THAT customer... very picky.
