    Nice shots of a gorgeous 4 rotor! I think '92 was the only year the RX raced in IMSA. Before the season commenced I remember hearing about how the other teams were crying foul about "rotary engine unfairness" this, "chassis too light" that; I guess Gurney's Eagles, the Nissans, and the ol' 962s had the pull. Fortunately, or unfortunately, within a year the prototype series became extinct.

    Thanks! That is a great link! Looking at the track it was shot in 1986. At a guess he let go of the wheel to give his left hand a brief rest.

    I just realized, from this angle the car looks similar to an Enzo.
