Saw Clapton Sat. night at MSG. He was fantastic, but Doyle Bramhall did some of the known solos like on "White Room". It was a Great show and Clapton played unbelivable for a guy 73. Okay back to best solo. For me it would be Hendrix (Band of Gypsies)in 1969 on New Years Eve at the Fillmore playing "Machine Gun". Wished I was there.
