It depends quite widely depending on why the tire lost air in the first place.

In other words, if the air escapes faster then it can go in, it will never fill.

If its just a slow leaky seal or valve, typically it will hold air and fill fairly quickly, < 5 minutes unless your air compressor is junk.

I was given a cheap slime air compressor over a decade ago that I still use for emergencies on my wife's honda. Ferrari offered a (rebranded/debranded) air compressor around the 599/612 era forward.

Not a fan of sealants, but could be useful.
I am a fan of plug kits.
Motorcycle shops small plug kits that bundle small enough to fit in a glove box.
Compressor, many options, just double-check the electrical cord length so you can reach any of the tires if the rim is not removed.

Sealant will trash your TPMS sensors, if you have them. Also best to have a compressor that attaches directly to the battery with alligator clamps rather than through the cigarette lighter. That connector often cannot handle the load.

TPMS sensors were not a problem on my Daytona, likely not on yours either. But mine had a spare tire and wheel and a jack kit.

I carry a plug kit with its special tools from Walmart less than 10 bucks and a 20 dollar air pump from Harbour Freight. Carry the same setup in my daily Mercedes.

Trick on octagon (or eared) knock-offs is to cast your own hammer using a frozen orange juice container as a mold (with a hole for the hammer handle). Does not last very long, but does not mar anything and gives it a good swack.

Crude and ghetto so feel free to flame me but I carry a basic can of Fix-A-Flat in all my cars - had a puncture in my 360 when I owned it and the FAF sealed it and inflated the tire and allowed me to get home and then safely to the dealer for replacement the next day. PITA for the guy who is changing the tire so LET THEM KNOW it is in there but worked for me in a pinch and does not require equipment and rocket science to use.

Obviously (as stated) it won't work for severe damage or sidewall punctures but will/does work for small punctures in the tread areas. FWIW - Cheers :)

CTEK makes an adapter plug. Female cigarette lighter socket on one end, the other end plugs into the battery charger plug which itself is connected directly to the battery.

Consumer Reports tested a bunch of various kits with inflators and sealants a year or so ago.
This was one of the top rated ones: Amazon.com: AirMan ResQ Pro+ Tire Repair Kit : Automotive
Shop around you may be able to find a better price. I got one a year ago for less than $70. I put it in the Ferrari in place of the factory one...as that thing is 13 years old, and expired...and even if it worked, no telling what a refill kit costs, or if even available. I would rather call a flat bed than use the kit, but its good to have options...

Like others mentioned, I have a plug kit in the car too. They are cheap...you can get a really nice one for $20 online, just add a pair of pliers and a screwdriver if you need to remove the offender.

@POLO35 has the right method. Use the sticky brown leather plugs and a fresh can of glue with the brush. Nice metal handle plug kit with sharp rasp and add a set of pliers. Keep air going with wet rasp in hole so when switching to inserting plug there is air pressure to seal it good. Only takes a few minutes.

Using a sealant through the valve stem will clog it, the TPMS (if one), and make a total mess of the inside tire and rim forcing you to dismount and attempt to clean before repair.

^ that method may not work with tires that have inner tubes.

If your Daytona has wire wheels it has tubes. A sealant bottle will not work for tube type tires. Nor will plugs. A puncture is caused by something piercing it. It will continue to pierce it until removed and if it is not a nail with the head on it it will never be found until tire is removed from wheel. I have been on many cross country motorcycle rides and this is all very old news to motorcyclists. I have fixed flat motorcycle tires in the middle of knowhere Alaska. Forget about it. Also do not bother with wrench and hammer.

3/4 drive sockets are available for the octagons. Short 3/4 drive breaker bar and pipe that will slip over the end as a cheater bar. Leave it in the garage when close to home and when on the road pack it in trunk. I did the same for a client with GTO.
