I have a garage space that I have to move a car via GoJak's to park and be able to squeeze two cars into the space. I have been borrowing (4) GoJak's from a friend. Are there any good alternatives to Gojak's that are more affordable (the car has 275 front and 305 rear tires)? I would really like to find a more affordable alternative then spending $1k, but borrowing my buddies isn't very practical either.

    Any other suggestions?

I have GoJaks - they work great for that "once-in-a-while" you need to move a car sideways, but IMHO they are a bit of a pain to deal with, and a bit messy to use. You should not leave the wheels on the jacked position either, so you'll need to have space all around the car to raise and lower each jack, even in the "stored" position.

Like the Op I have alot of cars and not alot of storage. I looked at the jack you can buy at Auto Zone. It raises the two front or back wheels as you choose. You can then buy rollers that go under the four car wheels. In this way you can move the cars around on the storage area easily as you choose.

In the end I choose not to do this too much work and I just rented more storage space. It may work for you if you are trying to utilize as much space as you can in you home garages. I think this poster I copied was talking about this.

I also looked seriously at car lifts. I only have a three car garage and my town only alows a four car garage. They may not be bad option. Be sure to measure carefully. My garages which are mormal elevation were very close for me on some cars with only 2 inches to spare.

Good luck whatever you decide to do.
