    But what cable company is best in Minneapolis, MN area? I've heard Comcast there is as bad as it is in the SE..

    I had DirecTV for 10 years but dropped it a couple years ago and switched to streaming.

    Everyone craps on Comcast but we've had it without issue in MN so happy we dropped direct tv ...you definitely don't want satellite as the weather is so consistently terrible in winter their are massive and frequent service outages

    We have DISH, and while snow on the dish occasionally(once every 2-3 years) breaks up service, 'massive and frequent outages' isn't our experience. What do you think is causing you such problems?
