I need to have some minor work done. Some fiberglass. Who is the best?
4M Bodyworks in Lewisville, call and talk to Jano. He's a Ferrari owner and F-Chat member. He's worked on all of my cars to some degree, and he just finished putting a new fender on my daily driver after an incident with a drunk lady. 972-219-0349. He's done work for a lot of F-Chatters and their Ferraris. Others have suggested Stuarts, but I have no personal experience.
Stuarts Paint & body is the best!!!!! Contact Stuart Singer, he's the owner, former Challenge driver & Dino owner. 214-221-6999
4M Jano and Raffi have done great work for me and do all the repair work on a lot of race cars from MSR. Great guys that stand behind their work.
Ditto. He did all the work for Ferrari of Dallas when we were on 75. He is not cheap and not real quick in getting it back to you but you will like the results you see. Tell him I said hello........
Stuarts was the best. In the last couple of years they have some issues and screwed up a couple important cars which resulted in losing some key accounts. Ferrari of Dallas, Lamborghini of Dallas, Boardwalk Porsche and Ruf Autocentre all take their cars to New Concept in Plano. Jackie, one of the owner for Ruf Autocentre, has one of his own cars being worked on right now at New Concept. For anyone who went out to the Concorso, Thomas (the owner of New Concept) was out there with Lamborghini of Dallas. He also does their car detailing. Stuart can still a good job as long as it is just regular bodywork. If it is custom work, Stuart won't be interested. He is not a custom or Fiberglass shop. I talked to Stuart Singer when I was looking to start a wide body conversion on my older 911. He said he didn't want to do it because he didn't know how to graph the fiberglass quarters onto the body and admitted he is not the one to go to for fiberglass work. Regular bodywork is a different story. New Concept can definitely do the fiberglass work. They have done a lot of custom hoods, wing, vents, etc.
Stuarts is still the Preferred body shop for all Boardwalk dealerships including Porsche, Ferrari, & Audi. they do excellent work and have done custom work for me in the past.
Thomas does fantastic work and the custom stuff is really well done Both New Concept and Stuart's do the work for both Boardwalk and Ruf. It depends on what you want and how fast you need it Thomas is usually able to respond to things quickly where Stuart's is usually backed up for weeks. Not saying that Thomas isn't as busy he just has more flexibility
