I just had my OEM tender stolen (condo parking ugh). Rather than replace with OEM, is there a better one I should upgrade to? Make/model? Suggestions appreciated!

Lots of threads on Fchat about this. CTEK MXS 5, 7 etc. have a search

  3. I have no suggestions for you, but who the fc*k does that?

What is someone who (presumably does not own a Ferrari F8) going to do with a battery tender? Keep in on their mantle as a momento to show off to their blind dates?

(No doubt it'll show up on Ebay eventually, but seriously, there's gotta be better to ways to make a quick buck, even if it's illegal ways.)

Evolution has failed all of us. Some more than others, obviously.

Gonna guess it’s a lot like the electric car hate that happens.

“Oh look at that expensive car plugged into this garage outlet. Who does that guy think he is with his fancy car plugged in not paying for anything. I bet he thinks he’s so cool. Well I’m gonna show him who is really so super most cool!” /epicTenderTheft, ca. 2022

Best battery tender is to just buy an Antigravity Lithium Ion and not use a tender ever again.

Doesn’t help much. If the car sits for literally just days they will still die. Not worth the risk.

Just get an antigravity lithium and forget about any issue ever again with batteries.

Very interesting, looks available off Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/CTEK-Portable-Computer-Maintainer-Alternative/dp/B08WNCYNTH/ref=sr_1_3?crid=2EYDJ5GO7U8C3&keywords=CTEK+CS+ONE&qid=1659369238&sprefix=ctek+cs+one%2Caps%2C141&sr=8-3.

Reading through some of the questions about it, I'm not clear if it uses the same connectors as the other models.. Are you able to connect it to whatever Ferrari tender cable you are using?

  12. I just find this just not true.

    I've had a 488 and now a Pista.

Neither car has ever been on a tender. Ever.

And I have never had battery issues.

I drive both cars regularly. And when I say I "drive" them, I mean I drive them. As in, at least a good 20-30 minute drive, with a minimum of some highway speeds. And not just a leisurely cruise around the block to Cars & Coffee (which is what it seems like most people mean when they say they "drive" their cars).

And when I do travel, sometimes the car will sit (without a tender connected) for about 5 days, sometimes a week, with no problems.

In fact, I am not even sure where my Pista battery tender is if you asked me right now.

I reviewed the surveillance footage and it appeared to be a homeless dude who somehow snuck into the garage. Not sure WTF he's going to do with it!?!

  15. Probably disassemble and scrape it for copper and then exchange it for weed or meth.

Love that folks are truly driving their cars. Approximately how many miles per year are you averaging?
