I have read a bunch of threads on this forum and get conflicting part numbers. i think my battery is going. I have a CTEK on it at all times. It's only cycling to #5 on the charger and the red exclamation point is lit, but so is the green light so not sure if the CTEK is going bad or the battery. Thoughts?

If i need a new battery is Odyssey still the go to? If so, is the ODX-AGM34R the one to get?
Is it configured with the terminals on the correct side? I live in Florida. If so, is this the one? https://www.autozone.com/batteries-starting-and-charging/battery/p/odyssey-battery-34r-pc1500t-group-size-34-850-cca/411443_0_0

    Any insight/experience is super appreciated.
    Thanks

Frankly any AGM with the proper size and terminal arrangement will work fine e.g. Interstate, Diehard etc.. Save some money over the odyssey.

I had a battery completely die last year that is always on a Battery Tender tender. They are made in China and I would NOT buy another. I have had several fail and they are not repairable.

I would check the Antigravity offerings - Phenomenal batteries - especially for cars that sit for a while potentially and the batteries are hard to get to. I will find the link and send - or just google Antigravity Battery for Ferrari - Cheers :)

AGM for sure, had 2 batteries from ferrari (Not agm) both failed within 6 months even with tender, car would never start properly etc

    No issues now!

Buy the best you can get

Wow. Some of you have had some bad experiences. I have used Interstate in 430 and in 458. Nothing special about them. They both stay on tender. They last 3-4 years.

I don't trust any battery after 3 years - I just replace. Cheaper than a flatbed. I have had some that would not take a charge or jump. I have even had trickle chargers - rhymes with "defect" - fail on me after 3 years... I guess they have a three year life span in my hands...

AGM battery is preferred not needed. Interstate MTP-91 or a MTX48h6 will do just fine. I like the 48/h6 due to the recessed terminals.
