Thank you Hwhite for your comments Shuffled the cars around a bit to make room for the GT to come home tomorrow! I’ve been very happy with the @advantage_lifts that I received last month. Image Unavailable, Please Login
I have an advantage lift, dad has the backyard buddy. Both are good construction, good welds, etc... Never seen a chinese version to compare to, but i don't have a single regret about the lift, ever.
Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. We really appreciate you taking the time to share your feedback and being so open with us. We're glad you liked our Lifts.
Your first post made it sound like you were a customer that bought the lift, now you sound like you are associated with the company. A bit disingenuous?
Take a look at his username. Think it’s pretty clear, IMO. My guess is he was quoting a customer but left out the beginning part of his post.
Can u get the casters and move the lift with the car on it still? I know BYB could do that in the past. I need to order one soon, what’s the lead time to PA? Thanks
The BYB is the one I am looking at now because you can safely move the lift with a car on it. I have a light car (2,000 lbs) that I want to put on the lift, move the lift over 10 feet, then raise the car. I have seen a video of someone trying to move a car on a BendPak, and you can see it doesn't work well. That's because of its much lighter construction (channel instead of tube post) and much smaller casters. The BYB is rigid (It truly does not need to be bolted to the slab) and the casters are beefier and much larger in diameter. You only move it when the car is close to the ground because the frame of the lift has to sit down on the caster cantilever arm to lift the base plates off the floor. It's perfectly safe if you use common sense.
take it easy on Don, he's new to the FerrariChat community and figuring out the flow of posting and promoting as a sponsor. constructive feedback alway welcome.
I see now that his original post was quoting another user but somehow didn’t look like a quote. All good. Lift looks nice!
@don.advantagelifts I'm about to start a garage expansion project at my house in Valley Forge. What's your current lead time for construction, delivery and install?
That Sounds Really Great. Our lead time varies depending upon the lift that you choose. You can have a look at complete range of our Made in USA Lifts at https://www.advantagelifts.com/pages/backyard-buddy-lifts
Thanks Don. I sent an email to you this morning with my garage specs and contact info. I hear nothing but good things about your lifts. Plus AMERICAN MADE!!!!
Any other brands to recommend for an american-made auto lift? Are these two mentioned the best? Thanks!
Thanks. The lifts are high quality but then that's what every garage deserves. Quality. Safety and Strength. Can you please share the email where you shared your garage Specs & contact info? Thank you
Backyard Buddy are some of the safest & most reliable Made in US Lifts on the market, and they've been around for decades so they must be doing something right.
Many BYB models are in stock. We are American-made and ready to go. Order today. Ship tomorrow. And in most cases, we can arrange installation.
Both BYB and Advantage Lifts are high-quality lifts built with Safety, Quality, and Strength in mind. Both use many of the same design features and have a long list of high-quality accessories. Backyard Buddy Lifts are American-made in Ohio, the heartland of America, and are ready to ship as they have units in stock since they control their own inventory.
