I've wondered the same thing, but never got a real solid answer. I have an S500 now and while I really like it, the bentley has way more style and class. That said, something like a newer S600 is probably the BETTER car, albeit still missing some style.

From what i've heard, the conti's drivetrain is pretty reliable, but maintenance items can be pricey, including brakes and such. If you can afford Ferrari maintenance with a smile, a bentley should not be unreasonable.

I've used a GTC as my everyday driver since 2008. Best car I've ever owned. German reliability, all weather performance (AWD) and great power. High depreciation makes a used one a real bargain. I highly recommend.

That 04 is way over priced imo (I'm a dealer) but go for an 05+ they fixed a few small flaws they had in 04, but they are very reliable, powerful, and comfortable.

Thanks for the info. What's a decent price for an 05 with miles in the 20-30k range?

that car looks way overpriced. i remember a year ago these things were selling for a lot less. If they ever go below 50k i'd love to buy one.

Reliable cars.. but the NAV system sucks in anything earlier that an 07. They suck gas like nobody's business... comfortable to drive, but if you like spirited driving, the weight of these pigs starts to show pretty quickly, especially into turns and braking. Also a lot of torque steer when you are gunning it hard. I'd stay away from the later model Maserati's as well.. too many reliability issues.

I did a little more searching, they did go up since last year. But put it this way, I sold an 06 with 59k white/tan coupe for $61k this past december.

If you want one from manheim, all I will charge you is $400 to buy it, if your intrested PM me.

GT is the 2nd most expensive car to maintain ... RR Silver Spur is the first. Getting a gt off warranty especially a high mileage car is going to be extremely expensive if something major goes. Annual maintence is about 2x a Ferrari 430.

Wow, I can't believe how cheap they are now! You are still getting a $200k+ car for that price and it is more likely to have been well maintained and have far fewer miles (ware and tare) than a German car of the same vintage.

I have had mine for 5 years as a DD and love it. When I replace it some years from now, it will be with the exact same car. I have owned lots of Mercedes, BMW, and Audi's, but this is a whole other ball game. I often keep cars only a couple years, but not this thing. Straight line power to 170 with ease whilst traveling in ultimate luxury. Just normal problems and very reliable (as long as you plug it in every night). Expensive to maintain, sure, only because techs for this car charge exotic car rates, but it will be in the shop no more often than a German car. It is pretty much as reliable as any German car I have ever had.

It is cheaper to maintain than my 360.
