    Thanks to a pot hole I didn't see in time to avoid at night in Seattle, I have a very slightly bent rim on one wheel. I've never bent a rim before in any other car, can they ever be repaired? If not, the default solution is to replace it with the same type of factory tire (20 FORGED DIAMOND RIMS), but while I like to leave my car fairly stock, I am also considering replacing all four with something different. I've seen past posts from Exoticar Auto and HRE and am currently re-reading old posts. Any recent recommendations?

    As long as it isn't cracked it should be able to be fixed. I'm sure your local Ferrari dealer has a service that comes to repair wheels.

    I ran over a pothole a few weeks ago too. Luckily the tire still held air so it wasn't a problem getting home. I did get the wheel repaired (for $200) and it looks absolutely perfect now.

    Wow that picture looks almost exactly like my wheel, good to know it can be fairly easily repaired. Although, I was kind of admiring the dark wheels when I was thinking I might need to get a new wheel. :)

    Yes indeed. Still the same tire in the second picture. No damage at all.

    I would buy a new wheel rather than try to repair something like that.

    Los Angeles freeway killed my FF front left. The rim was damaged irreparably and the tire popped. Worst part was being stuck in the hood for two hours waiting for a flat bed. Ferrari roadside service would only tow me to the nearest dealer which was two hours from my destination.

    If yours is like that picture, I'd suspect it is repairable. If you like dark wheels, you can always have them powder coated for very little money as compared to new wheels.

    I have had great success with fixing a bent rim. It depends on the shop. I am very fortunate that I have found a great place east of Indy (Mr. Wheel in Fortville) that fixed a couple of OEM Lamborghini rims and I could not tell the difference. After the repair, they completely remove the paint and apply new. These rims were going to be tossed out as the car had brand new rims to replace the OEM.

    That would also be my recommendation. There may be microscopic hairline cracks and our cars have a top speed in excess of 200mph.

    Better to be safe than sorry.
