    Any recomendations for bent wheel repair? I don't mind removing the wheel and tire.
    Hit a big pot hole on the 710 N to 405 N onramp.

    The wheel might be able to be straightened but they would not allow it in aviation unless you anneal it, then straighten it, then heat treat it then run a check for cracks using zyglow or magnet penetrant inspection. You will then need a full repaint which will never match.

    Replacement wheel is probably $4k, suggest you call you insurance company and make a claim. (you might also file a claim with the owner of the road, don't laugh, I know they do it some times.)

    Ouch..fortunately it is only for a Ferrari and not a Boeing 747....:D

    +1 on Al Reed, he's done 2 sets of P****** rims for me, including straightening on a few of them. Go around back and check out the guys polishing Fuchs wheels, what a mess!
