    Does anyone know where to source just the brake fluid caps? On my '78, it has the two caps over the floats that are known to break. I've replaced them both (one was broken, the other an ATE cap) - but have been wondering if anyone sells new replacements?

    I've done a search and come up empty.

    Verell, this would be another great Unobtanium item.

    I had one break also . Couldn't find a replacement so I epoxied it and has been fine for over 2 years.

    If someone could lend me one in good condition I can use it as a mold pattern. Will return it unharmed to the lender along with a new exact reproduction.

    I recently had to replace one of mine as well. I found them at T Rutlands. I'm not sure if they still have them or not, but worth a look.

    Hi Verell,

    if you cannot find someone in the US, revert to me. Since I have not only the 308GTB with this Benditalia reservoir, but also a '72 Alfa GTV with the very same, I have either new reproduction ATE-caps or some good Benditalia caps in good condition. I could easily swap my good Benditalia ones on the 308 with the new ATE ones while you could make the mold.
    Talking about the ATE-reproductions; A few years ago a german Alfa parts dealer found a batch of NOS ones, but they already sold out and unobtainable again.
    I would love to support your efforts.

    Am buried with people trying to get their car on the road for driving season, so will be a few weeks before I can do anything with it.

    No, IIRC there was a problem of some kind so I set it aside until I could figure it out.
