I have wanted a Belstaff jacket for a while now. I may take the plunge in the near future. I wouldnt ride in it, it would be as a fashion item.
Does anyone have any good/bad experiences or any wisdom to justify the price?

One option would be to get a vintage, worn model for a similar price as a new one retails at.
I also can't decide on full length (Trialmaster-esque 'Jacket') or the shorter Blouson jackets.
    please post pics!
    Regards.

I own a Trialmaster. If you keep it waxed, it is pretty much waterproof. Very warm to wear in anything above 70 degrees. I wear it with a icon vest, because there isn't much protection, like newer jackets. But unlike the newer jackets, I know my jacket will still look good, and last 20 years, or more. If you want one of the classics like a Trialmaster, you have to look around, because they are not being made anymore. Belstaff, is going more for the fashion market. and are getting expensive.

I had an Aerostitch Falstaff wax cotton and it was really nice. However, wax cotton has a sticky/tackiness that drove me crazy so I gace it to a friend. High quality.
