Thank you for the progrees updates.
I know that photo documenting can be a huge effort but much appreciated.

    Looks fantastic in black!
Can't believe that only 63 were delivered in Nero exterior (Compendium)

Exactly and with the chrome trim this is only going to look better as it progresses

Jon- is that another wiring loom that you made or is it one from Superformance? Thanks

A thought or three on headlight covers.
They look great on a black car. The edge of the plexiglass is clearly visible, more so than on a lighter color, especially with parking lights on, i like that a lot, it adds another texture. At the same time, I think a thin bead of chrome would finish it off beautifully. However, everytime I tried to make one, it ended looking too heavy. The headlights jumped out, ahead of everything else.
If a chrome trim is to be considered, perhaps it should be thin a bead, no more than 1/4". I have seen a couple that are almost as wide as the windshield trim. In my opinion, it should not be as "big" as on a 275, for example. The trim on a 275 looks great because, in part, its always been there and, in part because the windshield is way back. Dino curves are quite different and perhaps require a different treatment. As I said, just some thoughts.

How long does it take for the car to settle down from it's high stance?

Maybe a stupid question, and I'm sure there's a good reason for it, but wouldn't it be easier and safer to just send the engine to you for installation?

He had started out long ago with the engine rebuild before he decided to do other work. It works fine this way and I see no problem.

It looks like the engine has been dipped in Austin Engine Green paint, like pretty much all Healey engines were, or did the lighting shift the color that much in the photo?
