Hi everyone. I bought a Becker Cascade Ferrari model 6112 / Becker reference 7944 with sat nav.
I have the system software CD and memory card but didn't realise I also need the navigation software CD which was missing. I have seen loads on eBay and don't know which is correct. I am in the UK.
    Many thanks.

Not sure there is much point as only spoken directions as i understand it, if its old you would probably need updates at huge expense. Get a Garmin satnav and you can then fit their reversing camera which will display on the sat nav.

Pretty sure there is only one CD, but it must match the version of your CF Card in major revision number (i.e. CF Card 3.0 works with CD 3.6, 3.7, 3.x) and both should say Ferrari on them.

What version is your card and System CD?

Thanks, the sat nav won't work without the navigation software CD but
    Hi, thanks for the replies.
My CF card is the original Ferrari v3.7, the system CD is as picture attached above which is v6.0 and is non Ferrari. So I'm missing the navigation software CD and not sure which would be the correct version.
Does is have to be the Ferrari version or can it be just the Becker version?
    Thanks.

You have the wrong CD. You need a matching 3.x Ferrari CD, assuming the radio is the oem Ferrari branded one. FYI: I think Europe does have newer CD and Card version than 3.x and there is a way to hack the Becker ones to work on the Ferrari branded radio. Google is your friend on that.

Yes it's the Becker Ferrari branded version. So am I right in thinking that the system software CD and the navigation software CD are indeed two separate items?
When I inserted the system software CD v6.0 non Ferrari (as picture above) it accepted it. Now it asks for the navigation software CD.

You may not want to. It's a political pic from a Red Coat.

    Thank you Corey,
So just the 1 CD is all I need? I was getting confused with the system CD and navigation CD as being two different items.

The system CD is all the main software,
voice data and setup info. The actual nav data is on the CF Card. So only 1 CD and 1 Nav card.

Thanks for clarification, that's great. Seems the v6.0 system software CD I have is not compatible then.
    Many thanks.

Just checked the BE6112 deck and it has a Ferrari USA Version 4.0 part number 2004828 card. What is the navigation disc for this? Is the CF worth anything?

If you are not using your navigation I would offer to buy the CF card. Or if you have removed the radio it from the car I’d offer to buy the radio.

You are in San Jose, CA?
I am in Toronto, Ontario, Canada
