Hey BBi guys. I think I have discovered something.

My car's (51723) factory original radio face plate does not have a Ferrari badge/emblem in the lower right corner.
I know that earlier cars, '82's and '83's had this emblem on the face plate. I just noticed today that BBi #51847 does not have the emblem either.

So, I was wondering if perhaps near the end of production, as these cars were, if Pioneer started supplying radios with face plates minus the emblem? Any one out there have any info regarding this?

    Just curious.

Is your facia black or grayish? The "Ferrari" produced facia is black whereby the standard Pioneer facia is grayish. Since original Ferrari radios and facia's are impossible to find for sale many BBi owners might have chosen to replace a non-original radio with a standard used Pioneer 4300 radio and facia.

    Best, Peter
