Someone backed into the rear quarter panel of my 458 Spider and put a serious dent in it, Both the right rear quarter panel and the passenger door need to be repaired and repainted. The other driver has accepted 100% responsibility, his insurance is Farmer's.

Any feedback on the following collision repair shops:

    1. Cars Dawydiak on Pine Street in SF
    2. Cavallino Repair on West Bayshore in Palo Alto
    3. Other recommendations

    Thanks in advance.

Anthony's Auto Craft in San Rafael has plenty of experience with Ferraris.

Never tried Dawydiak, but my experience with Zucci has been testing my patience. I'm sure I'm not the only one with Zucci's paint work quality, or lack thereof.

I had a good repair experience at The Works autobody in Santa Clara, they had a number of high end cars in the shop when i was there.

My 430 was fixed as new after getting rear ended a few years back.

I had minor work that I needed to pay for out of pocket. Frank Zucchi did a great job. FWIW, his bid was one-half of Anthony's.

I did not have a good experience with them. I took my car there and had to return it when the paint started to crack. It did the same thing again on the second try. I had to take it to another shop on the third try and pay for it again to get it done correctly.

Are you pursuing a diminished value & loss of use claim?

If you are looking for top quality, Frank Zucchi is the top choice. You can try others but the quality will not be the same.
