hi guys. I have the Ferrari battery tender. I have seen an extension available for the plug in to the car side not to the wall side. I’ve seen it in YouTube videos. Anyone know where this can be purchased. Thanks.

If you get one of these, avoid connecting and disconnecting the extension plugs- they wear easily and you find you end up with a poor connection and a flat battery.

I chopped the connection plugs off and soldered them together to get some reliability.

    I agree with this.

My vote is to get a power cord extension cable instead and plug the charger to the power cord extension cable.

I only use Engenius units (I have had issues with the others), since you can leave them plugged in without risk. They make extensions cables for their units. I had Algar remove the piece of junk they use. I don't need another battery to blow up.

Yup, some of the old battery tenders (those cheap metal box ones) do not have circuitry to stop charging once they reach full charge. Granted the battery was near it replacement (about 21/2 years old), but it blew up. Ever since then I have a rather crazy regiment. I keep one spare battery for each car, have multiple portable chargers and very large shop type (on wheels) battery charger that I use if I decide to pull out a battery and put the spare in. Might seem crazy but when you keep cars stored from Nov-April/ April-Nov, it helps to keep them charged. I have seem crazy things with certain cars if you let the battery go down to low or do not replace a worn out one.
