One on the bucket list to attend... The tin tops won't beat this lap https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6YDDFgtXRBU
great race, it has quickly become one of the best endurance races of the year. kudos to all the drivers competing this weekend who were in Daytona last weekend
Looking forward to it. Told Wifey to take the kids out for the day. And when I mean the day I mean the entire day...............12+ hours at the park or something.
The only Ferrari of Maranello Motorsport looks great. With the Momo decoration reminds me of the 333 SP. http://www.dailysportscar.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Maranello-Motorsport-ferrari-bathurst-12-2017-paddock.jpg http://www.dailysportscar.com/wp-content/uploads/2017/02/Maranello-Motorsport-ferrari-bathurst-12-2017-paddock-02.jpg http://www.smh.com.au/content/dam/images/g/u/3/0/g/e/image.imgtype.articleLeadwide.620x349.png/1485916712198.jpg

Excerpt from MFuller's excellent site, Mulsanne's Corner: "Gianpiero Moretti, founder of the Momo aftermarket wheel company, began his successful IMSA racing career in the late 70s. Yet by 1993 he had but one goal left, to race and win in a Ferrari sports car. The story goes that Gianpiero Moretti convinced Piero Lardi Ferrari to build him a car to run in North America to the new IMSA WSC series rules. It didn’t hurt that Ferrari North America CEO Gian Luigi Longinotti-Buitoni thought it was a pretty good idea too. The Ferrari 333 SP was Moretti’s “Il Sogno Americano,” or the American Dream, and the U.S. was Ferrari’s most important market after all."
