    This is a very interesting thread. I really appreciate anyone that has, or takes, the time to track down barn cars. It would seem to be expensive, time consuming, and a lot of work.

    The factory mold pictures and story are also amazing. I usually do more damage just taking things a part than trying to actually build something from scratch. It must be very very time consuming.

    My "do it yourself" goal is to "do no harm in the disassembly ", but I usually end up having to fix something that wasn't broke before I worked on it, just to get to something that was broke to fix it. Bummer

    I must point out that for us english MOLD is spelt MOULD just like the stuff that grows on cheese !
