at least live timing show each knock out session times -heavy hitters only need one flying lap and can go by the others - six minutes inj this session it's Luizzi, rubens, speed . . . Hedlfeld takes P1 on flying lap

spectacular crash by kimi, i just think this whole elimination thing isn;t gonna work. it's just so confusing here to see 22 cars running in the last 4 mins...

 

Interesting. I suspect next race the upper teams won't be sitting around the garage again waiting until the end of the first session. I for one like this format thus far

edit: I may have to sign off this thread for now, the TV broadcast here is simply too far behind what the rest of you all are seeing

 

Odd, I've got Speed channel via DirecTV and it doesn't look that far behind.

Okay, so much for Speed channel not being delayed -- They just showed Schumi still not out yet in Session 2.

 

Wheather it was the wing or the tranny first, Kimi's luck stil holds.

I would prefer to see a shoot out in the race. Call me old fashion but 105% rule to make the grid combined with sigle lap qualifying then adding fuel for race tactics would easier and more enertaining for my old mind.

Well, my ear isn't as well trained as Nicholas Cage's in "Gone in 60 Seconds," but I can certainly tell the V10s from the V8s without looking at the TV.

 

Live qualiying is ALWAYS ahead of tv - I'm on the computer talking to my son on my cell phone who's watching tv!

Did they just say 22K RPM? I knew about 17K last year. Are the V8's reving 22K?
