    We must have similar taste in bikes. I got rid of my '95 900ss (a sad day) so I could get my 2000 996 monoposto. Right now it's the off-season so it's sitting in my basement... next to my 907ie. There's also a '74 750 GT down there, awaiting the final stages of it's rebuild.

    I saw a lot more Ducatis in Italy than are being mentioned here, you guys must hang out in the wrong part of town! ;-)

    I'm 46. Started riding at 14. Motorcycles are dangerous. Just about all you can do to minimize the risk is to remember (and obey)...

    1. No drinking.
    2. Always slow down.
    3. Size is king. Tractor trailers command alot of respect...2 wheelers command no respect.
    4. Always remember...other motorists don't see you, even if you think they see you, force yourself to assume they don't see you.
    5. Stay humble...and grateful that you've not been killed yet.
