No surprise there, these days you'd want to see a dyno sheet before handing money over.

Anything over 350hp would involve 6500~7000rpm and require a very strong bottom end and valve gear.

 

It was a 4 bolt main (it's downfall as it so happened) and roller rockers but I think 6,000 would have been optimistic ..... it did have a great soundtrack though

BTW.... The blue car was booked to get the same wheel and tyre combination as the red one, but seeing them side by side I'm second guessing myself.
