First things first, wireless routers suck...I have no idea how it's working right now but I have two of them wired in a way that I can get wireless on my laptop right now because neither of them will work on its own. As for my pictures for the day, I've only got two. -Maserati Gran Sport parked in the bottom of the parking deck at Lenox -Can Am Spyder in valet at Lenox Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
A few from yesterday: - white Audi R8 on California plates at Intercontinental. - white Bentley Arnage at Chops valet. - red Ferrari F430 Spider on vanity plate 23 WAYS at Phipps Plaza valet. - black Lamborghini Gallardo on temporary plates at GA-400 and Lenox Road. - white Rolls-Royce Phantom at Ruth's Chris valet on California plates just five numbers apart from that gray Ferrary 360 Modena we've been seeing around Atlantic Station and Buckhead lately. Brilliant photo of a brilliant car - and a Rolls-Royce too! My spots from last night mirrored Andrew's: - black 2002-2005 Acura NSX at Whole Foods on West Paces. Unbelievably, this marks the first time I've ever seen a 2002-2005 NSX more than once. - gray Aston-Martin DB9 at Chops valet. - black Aston-Martin DBS at BluePointe valet. - black Bentley Azure on Florida plates next to a silver Aston-Martin V8 Vantage on Florida plates and a black Aston-Martin DB9 Volante at the Mansion valet. Here's a shot of all three together. - gray Ferrari F430 at Aja valet on Lenox and Phipps Drive. - red Ferrari F430 Spider on Emory plates at Divan on Piedmont. - yellow Lamborghini Gallardo at Ponce and Boulevard - not exactly a very Lambo-friendly area! - white Maybach 62S on Arizona commercial plates on Piedmont between Peachtree and Lenox Road. A few tonight: - black Aston-Martin DB9 at Pricci on Pharr Road. - dark blue Aston-Martin DB9 on local plate FXNT1 at the W in Buckhead. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Two spots for today... -White Phantom Drophead at Lenox...I had thought the top was blue but it looks black in the picture, I can't really tell the difference between the two because I'm colorblind -Arnage at St. Regis...sorry for the awful picture Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Some recent spots from me: Thursday May 21: - red Ferrari 550 Maranello on dealer plates at Divan on Piedmont. - black Rolls-Royce Phantom on California plates at Terminus. - black Rolls-Royce Phantom at Terminus. Friday May 22: - white Aston-Martin DB7 Vantage Volante at Atlanta Fish Market. - white Aston-Martin DB9 entering Bone's. - gray Aston-Martin DB9 Volante at Lenox Mall valet. - white Bentley Arnage in front of Fado. This car will need to be retired from this thread soon, as we see it nearly every day. - silver Dodge Viper SRT-10 on Tennessee temporary plates at the Westin Buckhead valet. - red Dodge Viper SRT-10 Coupe at the W Hotel downtown. - red Ferrari F430 on Montana plates at the St. Regis. - white Lamborghini Gallardo Spyder being driven through Buckhead on Peachtree by a young woman, the first female-driven Lamborghini I've ever seen. I later caught it parked at Terminus next to an old Porsche 356 Speedster. - blue Lamborghini Murcielago randomly parked along Pharr Road with the engine running and the door open, but no one around the vehicle. A lot is said about this car, but my respect for it shot up infinitely after today's sighting, because with the peek inside I got to see its true 6-speed manual transmission! Not a lot of 6-speed Murcielagos running around. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
I LOVE THIS CAR!!! I am a HUGE Bentley fan and the latest Azure convertible with the winged B is absolutely beautiful.
Bo Pirkle showed me a damaged taillight assembly off of a Maybach. Would you believe -- $4500 to replace it?? And it was heavy as well!
Hello, this is my first post. I am a mother of two son's who are crazy about Ferrari's. After seeing all the Ferrari's and Lamborghini's in your thread I decided to spend the afternoon trying to get a few photo's of them. Unfortunately, we only saw one Ferrari on the road and was not able to get a photo. We attended a Rolls Royce event where they unveiled the 200EX a few days ago. The first pics are of the Rolls Royce event. The rest of the shots are of random cars we saw today in Roswell and Buckhead. A few good ones from today... -red Drophead Phantom at Lenox with red matching rims on Tennessee dealer plates -new Bentley Arnage and Azure on display from the Bentley dealership at St. Regis -430 that drove through the valet at Lenox and then did the same at Phipps Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
It's gorgeous! You should go by the St. Regis right now - Bentley Atlanta has a display of their lineup and a brand-new Azure - winged B and all - is right out front. Thanks! Wow! When I was working at Bentley Denver I was told that the third brakelight on the Continental models - which is a huge LED light strip over the entire rear window - costs $10,000 to be replaced. The reason was that they had to unseal the rear window (whose seals cannot be reused) and then break the window completely out of the back of the car before they could replace the light. Then they had to re-seal and replace the window. The light is supposed last the life of the car, but it would occasionally malfunction. Amazing! My recent sightings: Saturday May 23: - blue Ferrari F355 Spider (mwhitesell's, I believe) at St. Regis valet. - black Ferrari F430 on Tennessee 'University of Tennessee National Champions' plates at Aja on Lenox Road. - yellow Lamborghini Gallardo on Piedmont at Lindbergh. Sunday May 24: - black Ferrari F430 on Tennessee 'University of Tennessee National Champions' plates on Piedmont between Peachtree and Lindbergh. Monday May 25: - Bentley Atlanta's display at the St. Regis included a black Bentley Arnage and a black Bentley Azure. - silver Dodge Viper SRT-10 on California plates on Peachtree near West Paces. - gray Ferrari 360 Modena on California plates at the intersection of Andrew Young Blvd and the Connector. - red Ferrari F430 at Phipps Plaza. - yellow Lamborghini Gallardo on Piedmont at East Paces Ferry. Tuesday May 26: - black Aston-Martin V8 Vantage on Roswell and Piedmont. The coolest car of all was my bright blue Audi A3 loaner car that I got from my Audi dealership when mine went in for service. I put it through its paces, doing nearly 150 miles in the two days I had it. The car was nice, though I wouldn't touch a front-drive model as this one was, but the really amazing thing was its direct-shift transmission. The tach needle bounced around so quickly between shifts I can't believe it stays on! Welcome to F-Chat and thanks for the pics. You should bring the boys to some of the events mentioned in this section.
Thanks ExoticSpotter! Yes, the Rolls Royce event was located in Buckhead at a private residence last Thursday. Thank you also Tazz99. We will be sure to keep a look out for future events.
Some from today during and after the rains... -DB9 pulling into Lenox, kinda cool because you can actually see the raindrops -Murcielago also pulling into Lenox a few minutes later -Arnage at the W -Arnage in the Whole Foods shopping center across from Chops...I'm retiring this car after today because it's gotten to be as common as the Phantom that used to park at Intercontinental every day -360 at Atlantic Station -Phantom pulling into The Cheesecake Factory on Peachtree -430 at Phipps I also took some pictures of some AMG Mercedes cars today, started with a C63 and S63 parked side by side at Car Tunes on Roswell Rd and later were an S65 and CL65. The S65 was on Illinois plates and after looking at it again, it didn't have the AMG badge on the right side, it looks like it has either "TO" or "TQ" there instead.
