Why is am going mid engine? Would seem more difficult competition in this segment w ferrari lambo and mac. They had front engine category for themselves and still struggled. I get a single crazy halo like Valkyrie but not entire line up. Now add in maserati mc20, emira, even tesla roadster and will be difficult for them to stand out. I wont be surprised if none of these cars make it but im keeping fingers crossed for aston

Btw I was looking more into this car and the AMG engine revs to 7200 rpm. I think that is fine on a bruiser like the AMG GT but seems rather low for a GBP800k extreme car.

I could paint my DB9 this color and be perfectly satisfied.

My god, what a mess! There is not a well thought out line on this entire car. What a true disaster.

The Valkyrie looks amazing imo, but this just doesn't work for some reason. It's obviously similar in design, but execution is not as good...proportions look off. Even the interior looks wrong.

I was invited to buy the Valhalla 4 years ago during their private introduction in Paris.
    Downpayment of €500k.
4 years later nothing has been produced and they went for an AMG crate engine.
Soooo happy I didn’t order one as in hindsight it looked like the deposit was meant to partially save the company from going down.
I doubt this car will be released within 3 years…..

    Still an amazing concept

I never had a dealer push me so hard towards a vehicle that i have inquired about, i registered interest to find to find out more about the car and the dealer has since sent me about 3 emails pushing me towards it (after i politely told him i'm not interested). Doesn't seem to bode well if they're desperately sending out "reminder" emails to people who vaguely expressed interest in the vehicle.

They also wanted 270,000 aud initial deposit + another 270,000 aud deposit before having it specced out.

I'd be interested to know how many of the 999 supposed production units have been allocated yet, this is a strange vehicle that i'm not sure who the target market is. It's extremely expensive compared to its rivals and thus not as attractive to the enthusiasts and it also has a relatively large production amount (999) for it to be an appreciating asset purchase from the investors.

I don't think the Valhalla is selling well. The SF90 VS edition will be in the market the same time as the Valhalla making it a tough choice between the 2

Well ok, now the deposit is $200k and a 2nd $200k in October
Hard to swallow when compared to the SF90S. Doesn’t the SF90 already beat in in terms of performance specs?
I’m still enamored by the design of the Valhalla and almost want to buy it on looks alone.

That’s what I’m getting at. A down payment is just to reserve a build slot, that amount is way too high. Plus Aston has a truly horrific history of delivering these products to market on time and on design. I’d never do that.

Wonder if valkyrie or Valhalla will come to market 1st. Valkyrie had head start but Valhalla should not be as complex

I would hope the they can pump out more of the Valhalla's, they are making about 40 Valkyries per year at supposed maximum output. They are supposedly having trouble with the specialized carbon tubs being manufactured at a large enough quantity at the price AM want, so that could signal problems for the Valhalla which is using a relatively similar carbon tub design. Let's just say i wouldn't want to be at the end of the 999 allocation spots for the Valhalla.
