Some of the business owners near me have asked if we can maybe start a C & C style thing at their mall in Arvada. The mall was built around an Albertsons, and then they closed the Albertsons. So we have a LARGE parking lot and businesses that actually want us to be there, (some business said they would even provide coffee). There is a coffee shop, a juice shop, fast food, normal restraints, auto parts store, a bead shop (something for the reluctant wife's to do??). Rib City Grill Inta Juice Smoothies Quiznos Malones Clubhouse Grill Wendys Billy Ds Coffee Shop (Free Wi-Fi) Ka-Gina Beads Location is 64th and Indiana in Arvada (14705 West 64th Ave, Arvada 80004) If you have room in the schedule for another car gathering, sort of west centrally location, on the 3rd Saturday of the month. I know where some people are going to be having some coffee that morning. Doug & Pepper 06 Elise 98 Corvette 74 911
THis sounds great, I'll come and bring at least one Ferrari. I would urge you to get the word out locally, as there a several great car collections very near this location, including what has to be the largest McLaren collection in the world. I live locally and I'll try to let some others know.
The Mclaren collection is just 4 or 5 miles away. As Harry says: Dont know if it the biggest collect in the world, but its the biggest in Arvada. With enough interest, and some scheduling, I can try to setup a group visit. Image Unavailable, Please Login
GT won't be back until the following week but I'm looking forward to a C&C on the right side of town through this summer.
The 10 day forecast says 80's for next Saturday. If your in the Denver area, would love to meet you next Saturday! Lets see your cool cars, and dont forget to wear your Hawaiian Shirt!

Not a huge turnout, but what was lacked in quantity was made up for by an amazing variety and quality of great cars and people. Thanks for adding to the the mix. Still not sure how you see out of the M3 at night.... The turnout was small this month, but there a dozen other events happening that morning, i knew it was going to be lite. Hope to see you next moth....
The weather looks good, for this late in the year, for a car/social club meet. Anybody up for Saturday?
I'm thinking of showing up this weekend (if there is a good response to the thread) I heard about the great turnout from a few weeks ago...I hear there was ShoGun and I want to see it, dammit!!! I'll have to show up to work a bit late but I'll bring something fun,too
I was thinking on checking it out. Probably won't get there until 8:30 or 9:00 with the '90 348 ts. Derek, not sure what a ShoGun is but two weeks ago at C&C in Lafayette there was a TechArt Magnum Porsche Cayenne Turbo. Absolutely insane SUV, 700hp, adjustable suspension, wild aerodynamics, etc. Very cool.
Chuck, a ShoGun is a cutom creation built frrom a late '80s Ford Festiva, it was stuffed with a Taurus SHO's engine transplanted in the rear of the car ala the Renault R5-Turbo 0-60 times are in the mid 4s Jay Leno was/is the most note worthy person to own one, 220hp wasn't enough for him so he added a nitrous sysem to boost power to a little over 300! I've never seen one in person but always lusted after them in high school
