I have heard about armytrix too, and I adore the blue tips ! Sadly, I have no experience with any of the aftermarket exhausts. Price will be a big difference though.

Sounds great but it needs a set of Fabspeed headers and Sportcats to get a true F1 sound :)

I made a few calls today and I'm hearing that Armytrix quality is not as good as others -- specifically the IPE F1 setup. So now I am leaning towards IPE F1 but there is something about those awesome blue Army tail pipes :)

Armytrix and ipe are both made in Taiwan. Both very nicely made and sound incredible.

Chris, ask Lance at gt auto concept if you haven't already. He carries both brands.

Has anyone ever done the headers and left the rest of the exhaust stock? What I think would be perfect is slightly more volume, but more importantly moving the timbre of the sound up from the current more baritone voice.

Personally for me, one of my favorite combos that I heard was our Headers and cats with the rest of the exhaust left stock. That combo gave the car a nice and reasonble increase in sound when the valves were closed, and when they opened.... well... let's just say you don't need lights and sirens to get people to move!

Just the headers alone will change the pitch more than they will change the volume. You would see a slightly higher pitch, but the F1 scream that we all love is really coming from the sportcat/header combo.

How much does the armytrix system cost for a 458?

Accidentally saw some of the doubts for our brand, just want to take lil time to clear it out!

Quality-wise, you will be amazed some of the very well-known Japanese, European, US we do, and people loves it simply they think it's made in their own country...automotive aftermarket parts it's all about branding,

If those CA shops are carrying specific brand and having better profits, they would definitely get you to buy something else, we are extremely confident about the quality of our products,

Lance is IPE master distributor, they don't carry our brand, especially IPE simply not allowing it,

Tail pipe is really entry-level of making exhaust, you can have whatever color you like, gold, silver, chrome black, matte black, red, blue etc..., the only differences is the material, SS is heavier, cheaper and more easier to engineered, on the other hand titanium is super light, raw material is a lot higher than SS, requires different technique to weld it, and both can sell for the same retail price,

We don't do headers, but Fabspeed and IPE are great company, those headers definitely will help your Ferrari 458 sounds louder and more aggressive :)
