    As I'm narrowing down my search for a 458, I have mixed feelings about this color. On my previous P-Cars, GT Silver Metallic was one of my favorites. This color reminds me of it, but I'm not sure if it looks right on the 458. In pictures it doesn't seem to accentuate the beautiful lines of the 458 like other colors.. I'm going to see the car in person this weekend, and I'm wondering if my opinion will change at that point.

    Thoughts on this color?

    Its a great color on any car. It generally works on all shapes. I've never seen it look bad. If that's what you like you needn't worry you are making a questionable color choice.

    JP - I went through the same thought process as you. I labored on this thought for weeks until my girlfriend had enough ha. I have always purchased silver cars. About 3 years ago I bought a 458 in Rosso Corsa going against what I truly wanted. After I sold that car I built a 488 Spider in Argento Nurburgring without hesitation. It wasn’t until I got the vehicle in person for me to realize how much I love the color. A picture does not remotely do the color justice.

    It's a great colour in itself in my opinion, but what I would struggle with is that every third or so car on the road (in the UK at least) is silver. A Ferrari perhaps deserves to stand out!

    Beautiful Italia!!! Was that the Argento Nurburgring Italia pic from 2011? That particular AN Italia was still really rare to see in silver back then. As I recall at the time everyone was getting the intro color Rosso Corsa for their Italia. It didn't help that Ferrari had six Italia press cars all wearing the same Rosso Corsa paint.

    I think with a silver body, darker rims or ones that are a different color and not matching silver, are more visually interesring.
