I'm looking to pick up buffing/polishing pad with drill attachment to make my life easier. 2007 F430 rosso corsa. Anyone have a reason not to? Cordless drill is normal size/power with variable speed. Max speed is pretty slow for a power drill. I would assume 99.9% certainty there is no way it can burn into the paint.

Spend a little more and buy a orbital polisher...don't take a chance with a drill ..

    Porter cable is one

I wouldn’t use a drill to buff your car. The handle is in the wrong place to comfortably use it.

Look at Griots Garage, they have polishers and buffers, along with numerous quick attaching pads for polishing, applying wax, etc.

Other places sell them too, but don’t use a drill motor. You won’t have the control over the drill motor and could drop it in the car when you’re using it.

Forgot to say that it needs to be an orbital buffer. All the decent ones are.

You could absolutely burn your paint with a drill motor that just goes in circles.

Look at some of the detailing videos on YouTube.
