I'm totally onboard against fakes. The owner came along and was definitely playing the game, very proud and talking to an other old chap about loving the Ferrarissss.
Why would you parade in a fake version of anything is you really care for the real one?
    Anyway thanks for enlighting me.

That's a Formosa 120 GR. Fibreglass kit car based on a Triumph Herald.

Impressive pedigree. The exhaust note would be a dead giveaway.

What do you think someone would spend (waste) on getting this made.
Closest thing I can see is the Ferrari sticker is original (I stand to be corrected, maybe its fake)

I think the kit was about £3500, not including the Triumph donor. I would imagine most of these are built by their owners, and I think the building is half of the appeal.

To be honest, take off the bootleg branding and I have no issue with these at all. Yes, it's a generic '50s-ish' blob, but it's not like the donor cars were lookers (and sometimes I think these projects are the only things that keep them on the road). It's only when you try and pass it off, or decorate it like, something it isn't that there's a real problem and the scourn rightfully pours down.

Pretty sure the Formosa is by the same guy that made the similar Sammio kit cars.
