Hey guys, Anyone know of a 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spyder for sale? It doesn't have to be concours, but it should be well cared for. PM me if you would prefer. Thanks
There are a few listed for sale at FA Automobile. See here: Ferrari Daytona 365 GTB/4 - Daytona Spider- GR4 for sale on fa-automobile.com
The Don Davis Collection 2013 | Classic Car Auctions | RM AUCTIONS RM Auctions will have a yellow '71 in this auction at no reserve on 4/27.
My apologies.... I've requested a thread title change as I should have been specific and stated 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spyder. Edward, my contact info is in the PM.

Well, I suppose if one wanted to be super picky, one would inquire about either a 365 GTS/4 Daytona or a 365 Daytona Spyder. I guess a 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spyder would be a conversion, in which case mine is not for sale. Steve Meltzer "Never enough time to do it right, always enough time to do it over!"
Yes and zero miles have been added to the 14941 recorded since offered for sale by them. Sounds like it may be a superb and exceptional car. 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spyder Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Same auction mentioned above is offering this Spyder also. 1973 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spider by Scaglietti | The Don Davis Collection 2013 | RM AUCTIONS

With the 4 cam 275 GTB/4 doing so well these days what is the market for USA Daytona Spyders? Are they 1.8M now. In the past the prices between the two were comparable over time. Though less than half as many USA spyders built compared to GTB 4 cam cars... CH
Ron Spangler has this Daytona Spyder for sale. It is s/n 14739. The Daytona built in this time would typically still have the nose painted silver. 1971 Ferrari 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spyder Originale Mileage: 39,600 Engine: 4.4 Liter Quad-Cam V12 Transmission: 5 Speed Manual Body Style: Spyder, 2 Door Title: Clear Color: Rosso Corsa with Tan Leather CH Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
My understanding is that 2M was offered in the past few days for Lance Hills Daytona Spyder. The black on full red late production Spyder has long been considered one of the best of the best, if not the best, and is the only Daytona to ever win Best In Show at the Cavallino Classic. Shortly following Greg Garrisons 70-mile last-Daytona-Spyder-built being sold at auction in 2007 for $2,035,000, I remember an offer was declined for 16915 of 2.1M. From what I hear this latest offer was declined as well. Hill is a former Senior Judge and Chief Judge of the Daytona class for 10 years, has owned the car I believe for over 30 years now. I recall FORZA magazine did an extensive article in the November 2005 issue #65, including making it their cover car. I hope the last Canadian delivery Daytona Spyder still here, continues to stay in Canada. CH Image Unavailable, Please Login
Steve, so you are saying 365 GTB/4 Daytona Spyder is incorrect? This is how I see it listed on many sites. Further, I'm not sure what you have or if it's for sale. Feel free to PM me.
The data plate should show 365 GTS/4 on a real euro Spyder. It is different for the USA Spyder with the data plate typically reading 365 GTB/4. Also some USA market Spyders were later imported into Europe by collectors so they are not all to be found now in the USA. CH
I've read that the Daytona Spyders were only called 365 GTB/4 and have 365 GTB/4 chassis plates in US to avoid having to do crash testing for a differently designated model as a 365 GTS/4 would have been.
