Anyone have a place to smog my car in OC

I smoged a 89 Mondial t & a 355B at the smog station off Marguiette & Crown Valley right accross the street from the Home Depo (its actually off a side street...look for the Home Depo) If you are coming off Avery its on the right just past the emterance to Saddleback Collage / if turning right on Marguiette off Crown Valley its the first left at the light.

No problem with these guys at all...

 

I was going to ask the same question as this is my first Ferrari and I have never needed to smog check a car in California. I am going to check this place out.

If anyone else can put the place that they use in Orange County I would appreciate it. Thanks!

 

There are a few places off 17th Street in Costa Mesa as well.

 

I stopped by here today and they said "We don't do Ferrari's."

I just smogged my 550 at HB Smog in Huntington Beach...

Tiny little place... kind of cruddy looking. Equipment is in the ground, so no problem with F cars.

Call Sam at Southcoast smog test only. He is on Baker between Bristol and 55 in Costa Mesa. He does smog for the Ferrari dealer. 714.553.3956

 

So how does one get a smog test from a car that just come into California? I am told that before I can get my car registered and get licenses, I need to get it smogged. But then I need a license to drive my car to get it smogged.

 

I believe Ferrari Service of Irvine does smog, speak to Michael, his website is www.ferrariservice.com tell him [email protected] sent you, he will treat you right.

 

My friend always take his cars to the corner of Fairhaven and Grand in Santa Ana. I have taken mine there and passed both times. Tell them Larry sent you.

Thanks, Steve. I called Sam today and he said $74 to smog a Ferrari. I like that I can get to his place by not using the freeway. My Ferrari is being delivered later today, so I will check him out tomorrow

 

Went there today. Nice guy. It was comforting to see another Ferrari there. A 456 was also pulling in when I left.

Good to hear. I just got the dreaded, need to get smogged with next years registration renewal. Going to give them a try.

FYI, it was 2004 that he was looking for a place. Although he may need another one by now.
