unfortunately no drag strip yet i guess QMMF (Qatar Motor and Motorcycle Federation) officials loved MotoGP/Superbike and Rally compared to drag racing and circuit activates ! but i guess not anymore since im hearing the drag strip is going to be ready next month. and i hope we hear more about Losail circuit professional activities rather than just open track days for fun !! that includes Driving Experience, a real academy to find new talented young drivers, Sponsored single seater racing cars, and so on. tc.

tthe average is about 6-7hours. as far as i know its very safe. but for me i always prefer planes since its only about 40min, no borders hassle no worries, and i like Dubai airport in general.
I'm moving to Qatar in two weeks time. Been visiting on business for a couple of years and am now going to be there full time for a year or two. Never found any car clubs there though.
hmm.. yeah was wondering, are the laws the same as Dubai for clubs? hmmm.. might be an interesting venture to look into
