I am interested in a car they have and just wondering how they are to deal with? Honest? ? I spoke with Adam and he seemed like a very nice guy. Does he represent the cars they have pretty accurately? Any feedback on the dealer would be great.
    Thanks!

Al Mohr is the owner and a long time used Ferrari seller. I bought a 1985 Testarossa from them in 1996. They are ok, the cars are fair, nothing really special. Adam is the son, and Al is the owner (Adam's father). The prices seem a little high for the cars.

I worked for Mohr back in college for about half a year, nearly a decade ago. Back then, the occasional F-Car would come through, but the primary business was more used Mercedes, BMW, Porsche, Jaguar, etc. I recall selling a decent '79 308 GTS to a guy who had just gotten a large inheritance. He showed up in a 90s Lincoln Town Car low-rider (complete with gold-plated 13-in. Daytons) and bought the car after a quick drive.

Back to the point, yes, Al is the owner (long-time Ferrari community member) and Adam is his son. I wasn't there for long due to class schedule conflicts, but my impression was that things were on the up and up. Average cars for slightly higher than average prices. I never spoke with a disappointed customer, during my time there. Haven't stopped by in years, but they seem to be more focused on special cars than they were in the past.

We just did $35,000 worth of work to a 355 Spider they sold and swore was in good condition. It ran on 6 cylinders and had hollowed out cats but somehow they managed to get it smogged.

    Caveat emptor.

Al Mohr was one of my first clients in the early 90's. I handled overseas advertising for Mohr Imported Cars. Everyone I spoke with said he was incredible to work with, very detailed, very efficient and had a high level of integrity. That was then but I've heard similar compliments 17 years later.
